I still like this one better than their next one Baptized In Filth. There Will Be Violence is a good solid album. Expectations are set high with the blood pumping instrumental "Hell Breaks Loose", and the rest of the album does not dissappoint. The sheer brutality ID brings again and again is a sound that few can mirror. The vocals of Vincent Bennett on "The Great Fear" just add to that brutality and help make this a verry good record and one of my favorites.

hell, title, n fear hold a degree of fun, but the rest is some of the absolute worst shit ive ever heard. most atrocious of all is the full on mccore vox instead of the respectably dmy roar on last record, n gee i wonder where he learned that from? tim attempted wife murderin lambesis ofc, casually producing this album n inserting himself on a track

The groups greatest album thus far. With new drummer Brandon Trahan behind the kit makes this band even more tight throughout. The 10 tracks fly by quickly and give a short but enjoyable listen. The best track on the record is The Great Fear featuring guest vocals from Vincent Bennet. (The Acacia Strain) The band are really going to struggle on the follow up to this album. Worth checking out.

Impending Doom is deathcore. Plus, the members are Christians and the band can literally write intense breakdowns in their music (a la Orphans). They have done what they have always done before the way they wanted it on this effort.
