As everyone would realize immediately, massive Dissection worship / ripoff here. Still reasonable, but nothing too incredible. Some of their "chug" sections use the most overused types of triplets and melodic black metal styled rhythms. They take most of Dissections idea's down a notch, without enough aggression to match Dissection.

Obvious Dissection worship/plagiarism that just doesn't stand up to the former black metal masters. Worth a listen if you enjoy a hit of nostalgia every now and again, but not very spectacular on its own.

I think the album is pretty good for what it is, but if your looking for something original, look elsewhere. These guys are heavily inspired by Dissection (which is awesome), but this is almost an exact replica of the "Storm of the Light's Bane" album
