| 4.0 excellent | Jared Floryan | January 6th 16 | Reykjavik-based hardcore band Minus' second full-length album not only hits like a truck, the record also sucks you in immediately as if it were a void of cold chaos. Even if it decides to throw a couple curveballs (i.e. the relatively somber "Arctic Exhibition"), Jesus Christ Bobby remains a strong LP during the 44-minute runtime. Amalgamating vicious metal influences and an overall noisy, yet somehow comfortable personality, this album gives off a sense of urgency. These natives of Iceland, fronted by a ferocious, energetic frontman in Krummi, prove to be thoroughly entertaining. I suggest checking this demon out.
