3.5 great | Acanthus | November 4th 11 | I really have no complaints about the latest offering from Pulcher Femina, it's a rather
melancholic ride filled with subtle synths. If you're looking for something new, something
bombastic, something that makes you reevaluate your stance on futurepop as a whole then
steer clear. If you enjoy Seabound or the darker lyrical content of certain VNV Nation
tracks give this a listen, as there's nothing inherently bad about this album.

0.0 | bloc | June 1st 10 | By the end of track one, I was sitting in a puddle of my own urine due to the sheer terror I felt from listening to those eerie moans that filled up the track. Luckily, the rest of the album was not so scary sounding, but this fact did not help the album one bit. Unfortunately, Darkness Prevails is just a purely average futurepop record. There is too much emphasis on the vocals so the music ends up ruining everything; you will become very bored considering this album is 61 minutes long (ie. a bit too long).
