A New Soldier Follows the Path of a New King is one of those albums which combines every drop of talent, seriousness, and innovation within the masterminds behind it, and transfers this effort into a relaxing and somber work. The band traffics in many genres - primarily folk, dark ambient, and industrial - but their takes on these styles are so warped by past visions (they have a hankering for medieval times) that it turns out to be a highly enjoyable fantasia, as well as an album reflected in European ancestry.
