| 0.0 | Carnifex | May 22nd 10 | Confide need to recover from this shitfest of an album by ditching Joey Sturgis and actually working with a producer who isn't known for making exact copies of every band he produces.

| 5.0 classic | doom. | April 3rd 20 | This is one of my favorite albums ever. I understand people are upset that they walked away from the conservative metalcore that was their debut. But, this is just a personal favorite of mine, not to mention that in retrospect, this is one of the most solid modern post-hardcore records out there.

| 2.5 average | IAmKickass | January 26th 11 | I could think of more reasons to dislike this album than to support what it's doing, but I can't really convince myself that I hate it. Sure, it's generic and may be boring to some, but it's a catchy listen that has it's fair share of cool little moments. If 'Recover' is the reason for the bands break up? I'm not too sure, but they could definitely do better with their sophomore album than they did here.

| 4.0 excellent | joeltock | November 30th 10 | This record completely opened my mind to flowing, minimal patterns of simplicity. It made me realize what an adventurous, tangled mess the structures, in most post-hardcore/screamo, actually are. Recover is a fantastic CD to put in when your mind needs to be more at ease... On the other hand, this record is lacking of some memorable approaches at stretching and bending my imagination into the emotional flavors that I expect, when I listen to an award deserving record. I give this album a 4!! RIP CONFIDE. =[

| 2.5 average | Jaskolkaaa | July 2nd 10 | The sophomore record from Confide is extremely hit and miss. The band loses a little bit of their edge, traded for the autotune that is now typical in post-hardcore, sadly. But the harsh vocals remian pretty solid over the melodic post-hardcore. Some tracks, such as ", Repeat", are catchy and fairly well-done, but other than the occasional chorus or verse, the album is fairly disposable.

| 0.0 | Brandon Scott EMERITUS | May 17th 10 | From the opening notes of "When Heaven is Silent", it is blatantly obvious that Recover is yet just another in the line of processed, monotonous albums produced by none other than Joey Sturgis.

| 2.5 average | Comatorium. | May 17th 10 | At first i liked it. But then i just realized it was cause it was produced pretty well in comparison to Shout The Truth. Which is far superior. Still, it's aite for a spin or two.
