| 4.0 excellent | promiseswept | February 10th 11 | Joey mixes cat-like hisses and death growls with melodic guitar playing and above-average singing choruses. During the choruses, you may be reminded of Killswitch Engage, but have no fear: In Loving Memory blows them out of the water. The definitive Beneath The Sky CD.

| 4.5 superb | Bozzysacreddemise | July 22nd 10 | definately my album of 2010, some parts its beautiful, others its aggresive at all parts the vocals are outstanding and so is everything else, cant find fault in this album. especially love the title track.

| 3.5 great | TheGrasser | July 10th 10 | In a world where metalcore is a dying breed, hell it's practically dead, Beneath The Sky manages to write an album that completely stomps the competition.

| 4.0 excellent | ChancyWancy | June 1st 10 | After hearing The Day The Music Died, I figured the only place for this band to go was up, considering how low that album was. Thank god they didn't prove me wrong. This is a much better effort. Better vocals, guitars are produced better, and an amazing title track. Good job.

| 3.5 great | nevertoolate | May 21st 10 | definitely a better effort the The Day Music Died, and considering they had broken up, this was a pretty good effort. And yes prolly some of the coolest vox around

| 3.5 great | Vampolka | May 10th 10 | On this release, Beneath The Sky shape up in every way. Every instrument has been improved and the vocals are stunning. Joey Nelson shows off his deeper growls and uses his great singing voice more often. They even dip their foot in a little experimentation and the song structure has been improved as well. The first thing I noticed on this album was the guitar tone change. Even though I enjoyed The Day The Music Died, I found the guitar tone terrible. Although from a metalcore band like Beneath The Sky, breakdowns and cheesy lyrics are expected. And that is just what I want from this band.

| 0.0 | Bitchfork | May 9th 10 | I see no shallow enjoyment in this run-of-the-mill metalcore release. Everyone, including myself, has heard it before, and I see no purpose in its constant rehash. So until I do, Beneath the Sky will continue chugging away, and I'll continue trying to avoid them.

| 3.0 good | sspedding | May 9th 10 | about as predictable as Palaceofwisdom's As I Lay Dying review rating. Everything that has gotten Beneath the Sky
such a bad reputation is here, there is however some shallow enjoyment to be had from what are superb lead vocals
as always and a surprisingly excellent title track.
