Jack White was not one of the artists i have been following despite my casual liking to garage/indie rock. Frozen Charlotte is the second album I have listened to and I admit that why this guy is considered one of the most influential stars in the particular genre. Continuing the back-to-basics aggression of his prior work No Name, with his raw, distinctive guitar style and whammy-pedal shredding, delivers a solid garage-blues record. This is not 'album of the year' contender for me but contains a few great tracks. Standout tracks: "G.O.D and the Broken Ribs", "You'll Never Fix Me", "There's Nobody There", "Nobody Knows".r
