In which John proves yet again (as if he really needed to) that he was perhaps, just perhaps, the finest ever singer of pure rock 'n' roll. In any case this is one of the better covers albums out there.

Awfully underrated, "Rock 'n' Roll" was Lennon's best album since "Imagine". Its classic rock 'n' roll covers sound even better than the originals. Definitely a must for any Lennon or rock 'n' roll fan.
