shockingly bad. this feels like a really rough first draft that you flesh out and touch up over the course of months. it also reminds me of that company that made songs for rich people's kids. everything is so amateurish and not thought out. the guitar parts are just horrendous, sounds like a kid jamming on a fisher price guitar. music so bad it makes people cope and say it's avant-garde and boundary pushing. the cronenburg outro is so laughably i'm 12 and this is deep "profound", especially considering the shitshow that preceded.
camera is pretty great though surprisingly lol. classic charli. i'm afraid is kind of interesting and the hook of wink wink is fun but surrounded by some of the most cringeworthy lyrics. there are ideas i guess but it's just a complete disaster. but stans will eat up anything even music that seems to be insulting to their own intelligence.

Horrible record that will inevitably garner widespread acclaim because it's "different." Unfortunately, "different" doesn't always mean good. This features Charli's worst lyrics over pathetic pseudo alt rock pop instrumentation. It's not transgressive, it's not an "act of rebellion," it's just really bad pop music.

This'll probably grow on me but I don't even want it to? Very happy to just not listen to it again. Lyricism is honestly just, sort of bad for the most part, listened to this w my partner and we were cringing for the first like 15 minutes, although some sentiments I really liked and resonated with. That said, if the most impactful insight on your whole album comes from an interview with someone else that you just stick to the end of the album, it just shows a lot. you are NOT gy!be bro
