A glaringly unflattering depiction of a narcissistic sociopath. "I need to go introspective." Like yeah, we know you're programmed to do what's getting attention, like AI. It feels like AI is all over this and I can't shake it. Like... Okay, it's cool to be able to emulate other artists in a way that pays tribute to them, but "Ice man" insists on doing it to prove he doesn't need the feature; It could be cool, but this album still has Drake borrowing too much, so it sticks out how tepid his contributions are when the freshest thing he's got is sounding like other people. In the very least, this is an accurate depiction of a man who can not access himself, but the "emotion" it conveys is problematic in context with self-growth. Every intention on this album is to strategically elevate Aubrey as Drake. None of the topics stray from this, and it makes me wonder who this album is actually for... I see this as the perfect test of sussing out who cares about fulfillment in the meaning inherent in our interconnectivity with the universe that spawned us, as art and life function for. I just want to hear the instrumental version (minus some tracks) without dealing with a trust fund f-boy giving off popped Polo collar energy. Yes, he really lowers the instrumentals that much for me. - I didn't dunk on any of the tracks. I've really grown up.

After dropping mid after mid albums, Drake finally peaked
Edit: I really enjoyed the livestream but listening back today this is actually more high-mid but still mid. Great for Drake however, the livestream was really good and cool to see.

Look...say what you want about Drake but personally I am SO grateful to him that when I feel I've been knocking too many 4.5/5s out lately on sput, good ol drizzy drops another edition to his catalogue of 1's to bring my average back down again. Long live Champagne Papi.

already hate Drake none of these albums will change your mind but if you're even a casual fan of

i'm sure people who keep up with drake
will probably like this, tons of my favorite bands/artists do the same thing over and over for
decades and sometimes that's actually a valid selling point. heard a few tracks and yeah just
seems like more of the same, not the inspired comeback he needed to impress the naysayers.
probably good enough for the fans, more power to them i guess.
