One of the most important building blocks of no wave and experimental punk music is indifferent to your taste, as well as the taste of its creators. It is on purpose disjointed, distressing, and unpleasant. However, it rewards you greatly for paying attention and sticking through with some of the most contorting instrumental passages imaginable.
