Run of the mill deathcore from the Myspace era. Maybe with modern production it could be interesting but the material here is very one note and generic

Nothing says raw, gritty deathcore like sanding off every rough edge from a 20-year-old
album. Turns out Count Your Blessings was the last album that needed to be overproduced
within an inch of its life. Everything about it now feels hollow and artistically bankrupt,
right down to the egregiously bad drums. Genuinely one of the worst things I've heard in
recent memory.

What's the point in remastering myspace deathcore? It literally defeats the purpose of myspacecore. If they really wanted to do something like this then why not just make a new EP that is not the numetal pop punk stuff theyve been doing recently.

A group of teenagers who enjoyed At the Gates a bit too much has grown up and used their amassed skills and experience to do their debut album the justice it needed back in the day, similar to Burn This World by The Browning. And the end result is a fun, solid deathcore album with a new track as a nice bonus. Well done, lads.

I have mixed feelings about this. On the one hand, this sounds MUCH better than the original rversion (at least to me), and the improved production/vocals is a welcome change. On the rother hand, this is the same ol' debut we've known for decades now, same problems and all. rDehumanized is sick, but it stands noticeably taller than most of the re-recordings, which rmakes me just wish they had done more new music in this style instead of redoing their old rstuff.
