Something occult lurks in the distance, groups of dancing mystics performing ancient rituals, strange and unsettling but in its own way beautiful. This is the scenery that fills the world of Big Blood & The Bleedin' Hearts. I'm reminded ]so much of The Dance of the Sun And The Moon by Natural Snow Buildings, who I adore. Great cuts include "Graceless Lady" and "The Birds and The Herds".

This album transcends; listen to Colleen Kinsella's electrifying vocals, particularly on "Oh Country (Skin and Bones)," which has lyrics reminiscent of Robin Williamson. "Graceless Lady" is also unforgettable.
