A good mixture of melodic death/black metal that somehow becomes anthemic which is not necessarily something that would normally be associated with these genres. The band definitely hits the marks for the vision they are creating which is apparently a WWI-themed band that is honoring the victims of that bloody affair. 'Heizer Tenner' is probably the highlight here for me. One thing of note is the WWI political speech samples. They add a certain creepy touch which really works well for the project but without knowing German I have no idea what is being said and it feels a bit problematic because of that.
