great.

| 3.5 great | Alien Six | March 6th 26 | A step up from CURE, which I think is a good album. This one just has much more energy. The album flies by in a good way.

| 3.0 good | Tundra | March 6th 26 | ERRA are no longer moving the needle in terms of metalcore innovation. Instead, "silence outlives the earth" is simply another solid album from this solid band that I used to love. It does feel like "Cure 2.0" in some ways no gonna lie, but I do think it is a slight step up from that album.rThe songs here just feel more refined than what was on their previous album. Jessie has really found a different vocal style in recent years. It's quite comforting and beautiful. However, I still cannot in good conscious give the album the highest score in the world, for I absolutely see this band in their current iteration to fall under the "octanecore" umbrella of modern metal bands.rThe album does all the rinse and repeat trends that most bands in this style do. Have 90% of songs be radiocore, and the last 10% cater to the riff-heads. While that could have stuck the landing if executed well, "ii. in the gut of the wolf" felt extremely underwhelming in particular for me personally. Just felt like "Scorpion Hymn" but weaker, pretty much. The rest of the album is extremely predictable though, as expected.rOf course, songs on the relatively heavier side like "cicada siren" have to have octane style chorus in there that undercuts all the heaviness in it's tracks. Riff wise, the album was very excepted as well. Only about two riffs stood out.

| 4.0 excellent | PickleVai17 | March 6th 26 | Not as good as their Self Titled, but definitely better than Cure.

| 4.0 excellent | rafalafa | March 9th 26 | I enjoyed this way more than I thought I would after the disappointment in Cure. This is honestly half-Ghost Atlas, but I'm not even mad. It's good, chill-vibes ERRA, which happens to be my favorite ERRA. Not that I don't also love manic-riffage-ERRA too, it's just that this hit just right somehow.

| 3.5 great | DavidPrincipe29 | March 7th 26 | This is ERRA by the numbers, at this point. Good musicianship all around, of course, but nothing terribly interesting

| 3.5 great | branm25 | March 6th 26 | Nothing groundbreaking, especially for them but I like this more than the last record. The riffs riff. Pretty standard for them. I will say though, even if they dont always click for me you can really tell that this band is full of talent and they are pros at what they do.
