| 5.0 classic | resident sputbirb with fancy hat | February 9th 26 | Whatever I could write here, it wouldn't do the excitement that I'd felt leading up to the release of this album any justice. I'm very invested in this group because their leader, Isaki Riona, has been my favorite hololive member to watch and support for almost a year now. I even found a fun community thanks to that. All that to say, I'm very biased. Still, it can't be denied that this album is a lot of fun, its short and punchy and has a variety of different styles under the j-rap umbrella on offer. The only aspect one has to get over are the autotuned vocals that are a staple of this genre. Implemented well, they add to a track and I think thats the case here. There are aggressive tracks on here like the opener Make It Break It, chill jams like good enough and the light and even a genuinely emotionally potent track. Some of my fav songs that have been released under hololive in the last few years are in here, like the one-two punch of Load and Punisher in the first half of this very short album. Can't get enough of them. I'm expecting their next album to contain even better tracks but I can't deny my connection with collection of songs on here. Can't wait for what they will release next. Keep growing!
