| 5.0 classic | nipplehair | March 20th 26 | This album sounds like it was kept in a time capsule for a decade and just randomly found its way to the Internet. Simultaneously, it does evolve the band in some ways while also touching on elements of every album that came before it. It's great. And gets better with repeated listens

| 4.0 excellent | Defmytones | March 19th 26 | Oh, we’re so back. This is firing on all cylinders. Early impressions but feels like a direct continuance of “You Come Before
You.”

| 4.0 excellent | Retired Raver | March 20th 26 | Honestly so good given they've been out of the game for 17 years. Their heaviest record since Tear but still
encompassing all the new tricks and skills they picked up from YCBY thru Tropic. Couldn't ask for a better PtW record in
2026

| 4.5 superb | StrizzMatik | March 20th 26 | If you're at all a fan of PtW, you'd be hard-pressed to not like this. After a 17-year break of no new music, Peace In Place touches on every past creative era of the band and reaffirms their vitality in one fell swoop and makes it look fucking easy. AOTY contender for sure

| 4.5 superb | Ray91 | March 20th 26 | peace in place comfortably sits next to Converge on this years metalcore throne. as if they've never left, delivering a culmination of their career condensed into one concise record that would fit right between Tear From The Red and YCBY

| 5.0 classic | Larkinhill | March 21st 26 | Going with a 4.5 for now. Could very well be a 5 soon. But I?m splitting hairs. This album fucking meets, then proceeds
to absolutely demolish expectations. Feels like the last 15 years has been build-up of living, learning, and experiences
for the band that led to the creation of this album.rIt has this sense of urgency and authenticity that creates an
incredibly potent and powerful rollercoaster of hard hitting emotions that feel very personal to the band, like it was
recorded with the sense of learning to grow old, embracing it and all the anger, hopelessness in between, climaxing with
the beautiful and bittersweet closing track.
EDIT: less than 24 hrs later and about 15 more listens in…it’s a 5. Believe dat.
2 Bumps | Bump |
| 4.5 superb | jmh886 | March 21st 26 | definitely the most riff oriented album they've made since tear from the red. feels like a cross between that and YCBY with some of their later styles sprinkled in here and there. shit rules.

| 0.0 | GhostShelter | March 20th 26 | Not a fan of Will Putney?s mixing a majority of the time. This isn?t really an exception sadly.

| 4.5 superb | NYdubber | March 20th 26 | This exceeded my expectations. I was hoping for something that likened back to days of yore a
little more and while that didn't *exactly* happen they more than made up for it by taking ALL
their elements and expanding upon the collective PTW sound. That might sound like "well, no duh"
but to actually be able to pull it off - after such a massive time gap, mind you - is pretty
amazing. ::chefs kiss:: Excellent album start to finish with zero fluff. To get specific I'd say
the drums do get back to OOD and YCBY elements while the guitar work plays more on advancing the
Versions and TTR sound. Whatever, though - at the end of the day it sounds amazing and this rips.
