Solid is always. The production is absolute thickness. Needs more clean vocals tho.

Switches from a riff-centered approach to an atmosphere-centered one; less memorable as a result, and the tracks tend to blend together a bit and not work as well individually/on their own as much as the prior two albums, BUT...rThe overall soundscape here is exquisite, the songwriting on point, the riffs still meaty and delicious, and the mood still compelling and captivating. It's probably not exactly what a lot of people will have wanted to hear, especially after waiting so long but it's still a fantastic album, and one that I think will benefit from repeated listens even more than the others due to some great use of subtle and nuances keyboard work and interesting song structures. Love these guys so much.
