Between this and the last album, I really didn't have Bill making Dream River-esque epic albums again on my Bingo card. Now having been proven wrong twice in a row - unreal what's happening here. The album title and cover would indicate to you some beach-washed acoustic record (which would be more than fine), but instead, you get another epic glare into the most wry portrayals of aging and existing that are equal parts funny, sad, and pretty with an almost obnoxiously good backing from the players here.
