| 4.5 superb | TheForbiddenFool | February 8th 26 | I'm absolutely blown away by this album. I've been following them for yrs now and this is so weird and unique. A few tracks even have strong Death Grips The Money Store-era vibes.rI believe this is also their Sacred Bones debut, which makes me hope they'll get more exposure or possibly tour in the states. This legitimately sounds like its from the future and can't imagine how this wild/dark trip would translate in a live setting.rThe whole album is incredibly cinematic, big, unnerving but above all its dark, especially the closers lyrical content. The only reason I didn't give it a perfect score is due to its length, some of the songs are so infectious I wish that they'd stick around longer.rA friend asked me to describe this album to him and I said "it sounds like a witches circle chanting in the sewers of Paris."

| 1.5 very poor | BrushedRed | February 13th 26 | I wonder if they realize their name sounds like Hannah Montana. That is the only thing I have going into this album. But I?m about to listen and we?re gonna see.: ooof that was awful. Nearly unlistenable. Vocals are grating. The music is odd. First sound went from booty poppin to a carousel for legitimately no reason. I wish this was Hannah Montana.
