| 4.0 excellent | Britch2tiger | March 22nd 26 | [ELECTRONICA] Have to give massive props when a band of this caliber heavily displays Hindustani influences. This album will not be for everyone now, but I can hear how this will be just as regarded as their Demon Days record. The only track that I'm not a fan of would be The Manifesto, which may be the point(?) of the song.

| 2.5 average | lz41 | March 4th 26 | This should have been a Blur album. I can't credit this sincerity-bordering-on-ponderousness from the Gorillaz.

| 4.0 excellent | RaylanCrowder | February 28th 26 | Not giving Asha Puthli a proper verse was a massive missed opportunity but no other complaints here. Song Machine had more bangers but Parvat/The Mountain brings the cohesive vision this project has sorely missed since its reformation in 2016

| 4.5 superb | cjbizzlebizzle | June 13th 26 | Continues with the Gorillaz formula and in many ways is their best album since Demon Days or the very least Plastic Beach. With about 100 guests and instrumentalists recruited Gorillaz are able to produce a maximalist sound that is at times catchy and poppy and other times straight up beautiful as all of the diverse sounds are layered to near perfection. The Mountain leans into synthy art pop, psychedelic and hip hop with a heavy dose of Hindustani music folded into the mix. For my ears this culminates to absolute excellence in 'The Empty Dream Machine' that exemplifies everything pointed out in the above. Other highlight tracks that deserve their place in the Gorillaz top tier are 'Orange County', 'The Moon Cave', 'The Sad God' and 'The Shadowy Light'. Demon Days was a life changing record and its awesome to see Gorillaz synthesizing some amazing sounds once again.

| 3.0 good | Mitch | March 22nd 26 | Way too long, way too many features, but I appreciate the cohesive sound and genuine creativity, especially on the second half.
