With Hippies, Harlem seem content with their form of garage rock. That is, not being innovative at all, meshing fuzzy riffs with bubblegummy choruses and giving that a proper groove. In other words, they're a little stuck in the past, but the effort put into Hippies and the multitude of influences ranging from the 60s rock n' roll/psychedelic rock to grunge make it a worthy effort none-the-less. Come in expecting catchy choruses, crunchy riffs, and nothing but the rock and you'll get as you wish.
