| 3.0 good | Free Death #2 | September 2nd 25 | This is definitely a funky mashup of nu-metal and deathcore aesthetics, both sonically and stylistically. It has some cool moments but ultimately none of the songs feel that cohesive or have much identity. Somehow it's still more interesting than Lorna Shore and I'd rather listen to this Aussie Yungblud-looking dude than have to hear Will Ramos burp for 9 minutes again.

| 4.5 superb | Tundra (Sput Villain) | September 2nd 25 | Deathcore gone back to its terrifying roots with this one. Every aspect of random.access.misery radiates horror. From the unsettling background sounds to the menacing snarls, it creates an atmosphere of dread. The album strongly evokes the essence of classic nu metal, too. Particularly on the darker side of the genre. It delivers an experience of complete catharsis through its musical expression.
