By far their best album yet. Still very cheesy and overblown, but the riffage here actually makes a huge impact opposed to the two previous albums. Definitely a lot more substance and creativity. The cheese never feels like a detriment and actually adds heavily to the soaring, majestic atmosphere. Probably the biggest surprise of the year for me so far.

Woe to Whoa!

A little less consistent and a bit more meandering than Woe but still pretty solid and well-varied, great songwriting as always. Sounds somewhat crammed in production and clean singing in Frost Flower is plain bad, not many more complaints.

A really well done melodic death metal album that features the best parts from both genres. It's fast, chaotic, energetic, and aggressive but it's also melodic, expansive and very virtuosic without overdoing any one aspect. Features both clean singing and death grows, keyboards and blast beats, huge riffs and classy solos.

Oh yeah. They've done it again. "The Sleeping City" is about as good as "Woe". Is it better? I dunno yet. It is, essentially, more of the same. Which isn't bad, just an observation. All the praise given to "Woe" should be given to this album as well.
