The end of Something in the Distance is ridiculous, dangerous melody, once I hear it it's over
for the rest of the day, it's on repeat in my head
edit like 7 or so months later this has become a very, very strong contender for best album of
all time, stunning. just stunning. anyone that doesn't give this a 5 is objectively wrong. the
fact that everyone was talking about yet another slopfest deafheaven album instead of
transcendental god-tier art like this is a stain on the blackgaze fandom. this is better than
every deafheaven album combined with room left over. a LOT of room.
