This project is awesome for so many reasons. Chillwave lo-fi dream pop creative outlet for a neo-classical composer and a photographer (Evan Abeele and Denise Nouvion). The duo take their name from max richter's brilliant modern classical/ambient debut. Also, this band is playing a gig soon with fellow lo-fi 2010 E.P. producers, Best Coast. Both bands have created terrific ep's worthy of praise.
The music here is slow, peaceful and lush with pulsating synths and innocent tunes. At only 12 mins, it's hard to warrant a 3.5 rating, but the consistency amongst these four tracks is impressive. The female vocals are calm and slightly reverberant similar to Bat For Lashes but the music should be compared to Beach House.
Best Tracks: Sleep Patterns, To the Lighthouse.

Memoryhouse's celebrated EP 'The Years' may not have floored me, but I can at least appreciate the tightly written, intricate hazy world the band is painting here.

Sometimes all you need is pretty tunes, enormous amounts of reverb, and sweet vox. Lovely dream pop, that fluctuates between the inoffensive and the gorgeous on track 5 particularly, but also 2, both of which are nice dreamy jams. 5 alone bumps this to a 3.75
