| 3.5 great | Antonius | September 22nd 25 | Every album after El Camino takes me a couple of listenings to realize what the duet brings to the fold with every new release. No Rain, No Flowers finds the two-man rock group from Ohio hiring a handful of prolific songwriters and producers to overturn the poor management decisions made after Ohio Players. No Rain, No Flowers is vibrant with cheerful melodies and lots of groove. The Black Keys sound euphoric and with their dreamy 60s psych-soul / modern blues deliver a coherent and meaningful result, despite drifting from the garage vibes that shaped the band's sound. Tony recommends: "Babygirl", "Man on a Mission", "No Rain, No Flowers", "Make You Mine".r

| 3.5 great | Sly4evr | August 8th 25 | It?s better than Ohio Players I will say, there?s some 70?s soul, Southern roots rock, a pretty good blues/funk disco-esque song that is one of my favorites off the album. But overall, not bad.
