For a band that hasn't put out an album in thirty years, not since I was a much younger self getting in to metal/hardcore, this surpassed all expectations. Orginal vocalist Tim sounds just as biting and intense as ever. All of their particular style of chaotic groovy metalcore/mathcore remains with some more subtle hints of doom/punk/industrial. Modern production serves only as a benefit as well to ensure all the microdetails in the recording are there.
