4.0 excellent | REANIMATED | April 14th 25 | Far more linear than their prior releases,
as the first half is more tense and the
second far more cathartic. Which makes it
disappointing for about 40 minutes, then
absolutely ecstatic thereafter on first
listen. I'd be frustrated if they used this
formula in subsequent releases, but as it
stands LSDSI is a very impressive exercise
in tension and release. On the other hand,
I'm not convinced at all by "Alaap On
Surbahar", which adds little and bloats the
proceedings, and I do wish it had a stronger
jazz influencem

3.5 great | Ferretmusic | April 14th 25 | One of the more interesting drone albums, with jazz and eastern hints, serving more as a piece of art than 'tracks of music'

4.1 excellent | Erwann S. STAFF | April 11th 25 | Belgian homies making 1h40 records sound like a breeze. Neptunian Maximalism's newest record really sounds like neptunian maximalism: long drony passages clash with avant metal, eastern melodies, and tribalistic rhythms.
