discography is too damn awesome to not be recognized.

| 5.0 classic | Tundra (Sput Villain) | May 9th 25 | Band transcends genre, and cultural norms. At their worst, they are a pop band breaking the mold for what is pop in its contemporary form. In an era of pop where songs are only getting shorter, and song structures more simplistic, Sleep Token songs just get longer and more adventurous. The band is barely metal at this point, but I simply don't care. They are genre fluid in its most purist form. No matter what they write, their melodies are always drenched in an undeniable regal divinity.

| 3.0 good | FrozenFirebug | April 28th 25 | I am completely indifferent to this band, but if anyone in their review of this album uses the word "overproduced" instead of rightfully calling the production "abject fucking shit", PLEASE stand up for integrity in musical journalism, and immediately neg them + imply they are intellectually and/or hearing impaired. Total abortion of sound design and mixing on these singles, even moreso than on TMBTE. Vocals devoid of all texture except the occasional squelchy plastic scratch. Guitar sounds like it was recorded in a sewer pipe on a Nokia 3310 and compressed to 64kbps then stapled to the rest of the musical corpse posthumously, somehow acting as a catalyst for cancerous growths on the drums whenever it appears. HOW do you even fuck up sounds this bad? HOW do you keep your job after producing this? WHY does anyone tolerate this? Is the band doing it on purpose because they know someone, somewhere, will lap it up without complaint, or elsewise complain solely about other elements, glossing over the real issue? Fuck you all.

Most of this is just unimpressive/uninteresting softcore porn music. I'd honestly rather have a
dying giraffe named Clarence as the lead singer.

| 2.5 average | Aerialist | May 8th 25 | Sleep Token gone full diva. Completely lost the balance that made them previously interesting. Songs all follow the same
predictable pattern, and the R&B rap vocal sections are milked way too hard. Sadly a miss from them, imo.

| 0.0 | zakalwe | May 17th 25 | I am going to do a zak reacts video on YouTube to this album. rConstantly gesticulating and showing me perfect teeth while going into ridiculous over enthused hyperbole about how ?insanely amazing? the thing is shedding a forced tear to appear humbled by its sheer emotional weight. rJust before wrapping up I will offer a million dollar prize to some random subscriber just to show how considerate humane and generous I am and how ultimately this album has changed me for the better. r

| 2.0 poor | Ferretmusic | May 16th 25 | "Seeing hate from users with Objectivity ratings less than 50%, who definitely didn't bother to listen to the album, is what makes Sputnik so special..." a 4.5.... did YOU bother to listen to the album...seriously?r"Seeing elitists get upset about a band being popular is hilarious. This is a fun and experimental album, worth a listen or 2" and then gives the album a 4. Oki doki.rThis is not a good album. My biggest hinderance to this band has been the vocals, which can be a matter of taste, but objectively, they sound even worse here, in fact, sounded down right fake. Musically, which has at least been interesting at times didn't help either. Mixing different genres with metal can be done well, ie Zeal&Ardor, but here....it feels like it was dialed in, with generic stamped all over every song. THERE IS NOTHING SPECIAL HERE!

| 2.5 average | c0nf1n3d | September 2nd 25 | Distinguishable moments within "Even in Arcadia" feel lesser than anything off of Sleep Token's previous album "Take Me Back to Eden". Take 'Caramel' for example, the song closest in terms of style and tone to 'The Summoning', which lyrically Caramel speaks volumes but can't seem to hit that same metric when it comes to the music; being one crescendo to a big finale that somehow still seems to feel lacking. 'Emergence', 'Past Self', 'Dangerous', and 'Damocles' all contain catchy hooks to certainly not make the album's journey completely forgettable, and even in the closer 'Infinite Baths' the band remembers to try some variety again (something they're praised for) and gives arguably the best track from the album. Personally, I wasn't expecting a "Take Me Back to Eden 2" or anything, but I was hoping for improvement versus staying the same and/or regression.

| 4.0 excellent | TheGreatQ | July 13th 25 | When I stopped thinking about it as a metal album with indie pop/trap elements and more correctly viewing it as indie pop/trap with moments of heaviness, I started to love it.rPast Self and Gethsemane live rent free in my head

| 2.0 poor | BillyBrill | May 22nd 25 | Everyone in my circle loves sleep token and even they didnt like this one. I dont like it either. I like the end of infinite baths but I shouldn?t have to listen to a lewis capaldi song for 3 and a half minutes to get to a bit I like. Caramel is maybe only enjoyable because its evocative of their earlier sound. Which I also dont actually love that much.

| 3.5 great | JDubb | May 18th 25 | Took a few listens, but this album is resonating well with me. In comparison to TMBTE, this
album is more varied, especially between the lighter and heavier tracks. And metal is used more
as an accent (another paint to paint with); not going to win a best metal guitar award, but when
heavy, the guitar work is tasty. Similarly, the vocals are excellent, including the rapped vocals
on a few tracks. And harsh vocals are minimal; but well done where incorporated. Really like
the bookends: Look to Windward/Emergence in the beginning, and Infinite Baths in the end. Album
is like an oreo - with softer, textured tracks in the middle. Have to applaud the use of varied
instruments as well - the saxaphone, piano, and perhaps a vibraphone; this is well interspersed
throughout.

| 3.0 good | Monstar1790 | May 14th 25 | I love this band but they should?ve spent a bit more time refining some of the songs. Nearly everything on Take Me Back to Eden flows effortlessly, while some of the transitions here just feel forced.

| 2.5 average | Snuron | May 9th 25 | As someone who grew up listening to metal in my teens, this album has a lot of R&B trap beat songs like it's coming from Arcane: League of Legends that a lot of the songs don't end up clicking me. A few songs I like were Dangerous and Caramel. I didn't like Emergence at all.rI'll prolly revisit this for "Are these the worst albums from popular bands?" list. At least, it doesn't sound like Metallica - St. Anger.r(I agree with Jesper and Aerialist)

| 3.0 good | SMLiberator | May 8th 25 | I was confident they were never going back to pre-Sundowning era quality and feared they'd go astray stylistically after Take Me Back to Eden... and apparently they did. Maybe not bad, but certainly not for me.rI miss their Sundowning/TPWBYT style, but hopefully this will grow on me.
