| 4.0 excellent | brickhed | March 5th 25 | Another top tier tech death album from this month. rI love the production on this album. While a lot of brutal death metal focuses on making the rproduction overwhelming, the more stripped back production here helps makes things feel rfresh. The band wears its influences more directly (that i can identify) but can still hold rmore than a candle to classics in their niche. Also, I love that the vocals are more direct. rPersonal taste, but it adds to how much I love the album in the end. The riffs are weird and rmemorable, with just enough brutality to tie things together.rThe prog elements are woven very well into the brutality, creating an excellent and rmemorable contrast. These dudes look pretty young but jesus they know their stuff. My rfavorite DM album of this year so far. Go listen to it.
