| 3.5 great | cjbizzlebizzle | April 28th 25 | 'Taxi Man', 'Four', 'Smells Like Something Died in Here', '18 Wheeler' and 'The Body as a Structure' are all good to even great tracks and DITZ delivers a noise rock/post-punk sound that does a really good job at delivering tension dynamics and cool high/low transitions. One of many examples is in "The Body as..." where the song begins with more than a minute of a simple booming bassline, a simple plucked unsetting guitar lick and vocals that are more spoken word than anything before exploding in a noisy chorus featuring dissonant chords and loud, anthemic vocals. Completely out of the blue for me and super happy I came across this group.

| 3.2 good | didnt ask to be staff, was made staff anyway, then got demoted for not doing staff stuff | March 21st 25 | Ditz operate on a level of ugliness and grainy mess so chaotic that it makes finding any spark of positivity of musical moment even a smidge more dynamic than rambling/grunting near impossible. As a result, the bulk of this comes off hostile and cynical, by design, but all the more difficult to appreciate. Or rather, easy to admire, hard to love.

| 4.5 superb | SlappingPythagoras | January 29th 25 | Fuck this absolutely rips. Good old fashioned British post punk. Nasty wonky riffs with some geez shouting over the top
