If Pathfinder wasn't the opener, this might've been a 4.0 for me. I can enjoy most other songs to a certain degree. The decision to open with that track is baffling, the millenial chanting just completely ruins it for me, no matter how many chances I gave it. It's a really unexciting track which is made even weirder by me suspecting that it was made for the big arena show experience. Already felt like it was Suisei's worst song when it appeared out of nowhwere sometime ago. Anyway, other than that the album is pretty good but I do have some more gripes with it. There are a bunch of moments all over the album where dissonance in the melodies is used for no discernable reason or resolution which makes the songs feel unsatisfying. Some of the composition and production choices also leave the ear overburdened, especially Cocoon and Heart. The production quality generally is pretty good though and there is a fair bit of variety in styles. Song highlights of course include the phenomenal Bibbidiba, the biggest single in hololive history so far, the beautiful Deadpool featuring KAF aswell as Xion, specifically that instrumental drop after the first chorus, which might be my favorite moment on the whole album. Suisei has truly arrived in the mainstream which is completely deserved and I want her to thrive. I feel like this album is a bit too much of a mess and despite a lot of good in these songs, its also her worst album yet.
