I remember a friend/roommate and I listening to some "new" Ringo at the time (circa 2014?) and openly laughing about how bad and uninspired it sounded. Haven't listened to any Ringo since until this one cause I was intrigued on the "country" vibe, and I have to say that at no point was I wowed but I also wasn't laughing at it and didn't feel the need to shut it off. The music is fine but the lyrics are....well, it's Ringo, what do you want?
