4.5 superb | Gary STAFF | February 5th 25 | Well, this is a woah!-tier record. DIM switched to a new avant-garde dark folk/raw black metal/dungeon synth style... and I'm totally into this! Very dark, atmospheric and unique. The tasty textures (noise) make this album very "living" and "organic"; also the lots of string instruments, plus the hurdy gurdy and nickelharpa, adds a lot to the atmosphere. Sometimes it's like a strange soundtrack for a dark art film... which is cool, I guess.

3.1 good | Erwann S. STAFF | January 13th 25 | DIM infuses quite some black metal into its usually pastoral and whimsical take on dungeon synth. While it brings some fresh air into the soundscape, the integration of dungeon synth has been (well) done so many times this particular iteration doesn't bring anything new to the table.
