Maybe it is because I have heard plenty similarly twisted core albums in my day, maybe because I have heard many such albums in the last few days alone, each bringing more veracity and certainly more wit to the table, but in the end 'Pain Olympics' ran thin on ideas, blundered a bit in execution, and never was quite the rfrantic wild ride it set out to be.
