A bunch of killer riffs and interesting ideas
often marred by derivative or monotonous
ideas. Actually really frustrating because a
lot of the good material is sitting right next
to something less inspiring. I'm not going to
go into a lot of detail but, something like
the end of no sun nor moon keeps going and
going no where. Not atmospheric enough to
warrant its extended play time. Record has a
number of moments like this on it.

this so overrated rn.rThey could be great, yes, but potential doesn't mean its actually good. Almost everything is too long and drawn out, the atmosphere teases but hardly ever reaches any real height - there is zero hookiness, a dearth of melody, and a bounty of monotony. I was a big fan of parts of All Hail the Swinelord, but band has disappointed me completely since. Like why the hell is Old Space 8:42 ? There's very little variety to it. C'mon now, that should be a four and a half minute track. Trying way too hard to please the wrong sorts of people - absolutely zero admittance or coherence to what actually sounds good. First single pretty much exemplified the album - should be amazing. Is not good enough to listen to. Nice hook riff at the beginning, nice build release at the end. Given away to a 9 minutes track with a buncha filler and never reaches the emotional height it should. Poor album. Get real.
