| 1.0 awful | Gameofmetal EMERITUS | January 31st 25 | Instrumentally sounds like AI generated The Fall of Ideals to late 2010s metalcore trends. Not one
catchy chorus in sight. Lyrics are somehow all about lost love and personal failings in the same
breath as right wing pandering about "fragility". Ok. edit: Tom MacDonald Deathreats 5.0 12.27.24

| 4.0 excellent | c0nf1n3d | February 27th 25 | "Antifragile" is very much like Linkin Park's latest album "From Zero" where it aims to be a 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' of albums. All That Remains, most notable for having their record "The Fall of Ideals" be so beloved yet they gradually downgraded themselves into radio-safe rock music to appeal to a larger fanbase. I get it; unless you're really excelling there's a point where you've got to cater to make some money. It's a strategy that worked very well for them, but with the band taking a (very understandable) hiatus and adding new members, they've decided to replicate what was revered the most and has aged well, and that's the core essence of "Antifragile". The musicianship here can't be denied; the guitar work is excellent beginning to end, the drums go monstro-insane at points, and the vocals are well-mixed within everything else. 'Divine', 'The Piper', the title track, and 'Let You Go' are the highlights here. It's a coin toss to see if what they'll do next will be something like 'No Tomorrow' on this one, where they go back to more of a radio-rock sound, but I'm quite content with having an overall excellent metalcore record

| 2.5 average | MegaResurrectedJake4 | February 1st 25 | The facts are simple - they were good, then they were not, then they were horseshit, now
they are deciding they want to be good again, but they're still addicted to being horseshit.
Singles are proof enough of that. But there are actual songs on here that have moments of
good. Ppl saying it was TFOI 2, it's not, but you can see what they mean. They mostly ruin
every good choice they make. Kerosene was almost good except for a horseshit chorus.
Antifragile sounds like a good melodeath song except its not hooky at all. Poison it is less
melodeathy but kinda similar. Cut their tongues out is ok, but way too many chuggaroos.
Final verdict: all buttrock titles, zero good songs, but pleased with the direction. And
those are the facts.

| 1.0 awful | PostmanPat | January 31st 25 | I don't get how this band has been around 20 years, released one good album during that entire time frame, and still exists.
