I'm over the moon with how they've evolved their sound on this album. I don't think there's a
single bad track. Dani and Tom seem to be pushing each other both vocally and creatively, and I
think their interplay throughout pushes it over the top for me. I can understand why long time
fans maybe aren't as into this. But it hits the fuckin mark for me! This is everything I never
knew I wanted from this new lineup.

A for effort, F for execution. This just isn't it. The new clean singer falls very flat, especially compared to the old one. He just sounds generic and with less air.rThe production is mushier than ever, very metallic and with a high compression rate. You're not br00tal just because you're louder guys. Brutality, if wanted, comes from musicianship and creative choices, not from exaggerated studio magic. Lastly, there isrtheir new tendency to try things out. While I appreciate the notion to finally - after seven effing records - stray away from the tried and tested verse-chorus-verse-chorus-breakdown-chorus syndrome that Bury Tomorrow suffered from, nu metal elements and a boatload of spoken words aren't it. They don't fit the modern metalcore era but rather appear like a cheap version of Emmure's weakest work, Felony. If you want to make nu metal, stick to it and do it all the way through, like a whole album - think Limp Bizkit's latest record, Still Sucks. Otherwise, if you just include elements here and there, people will hate it. And so do I. Worst offender here is the track called Villain Arc. Ah, and don't even get me started on the lyrics. Whoever decided to title this album Will You Haunt Me comma With That Same Patience should be strangled in his sleep. Absolutely redonkulous and lolbad. Scraping up a 2 point 5 here because of SOME signs of hope on the tracks What If I Burn, Waiting, Yokai, plus the closer. But each and every single one doesn't even clear the hurdle of being good, so...it cannot be a 3. Better luck next time boys.

OK so these guys really made a U-turn. Awesome breakdowns but the rest is poor most of the times.
Some nice vocals on display and the chops are still there, however the whole package really took
a hit...
Where the last record felt quite samey this record really is a rollercoaster. I respect it but
the execution is lacking, except on the few highlights this has (the closer is awesome).
