Its always refreshing for me to hear a Fish album, especially as he is one of my favourite solo musicians. This album has in particular so much variety its almost impossible to note every little thing that makes his music stand out so. The last six songs (contributing to a 25 minute opus called 'Plague of Ghosts') are maybe drawn out a little too long, but not enough to take away from the core values of this promising album by Fish. I sometimes wonder whether marillion or Fish is actually better.
