Debut album of Swedish death metal band Hypocrisy sounds very alive considering the fact it comes straight from the hell. They are merciless, accurate, quick and brutal, with punishing double bass and occasional grinding blast beats, good guitars with some solos and killer riffs, nice bass guitar and droughty satanic vocal helping to create atmosphere of darkness. They may sound kind of primitive, but this is not jazz you know.rHighly recommended for any fan of old school (and satanistic) death metal.
