3.2 good | Erwann S. STAFF | March 31st 25 | Glimmer of God features more ideas than Dawson's previous records, but these ideas aren't as fully-fledged as expected from him.

3.0 good | ajcollins15 | October 23rd 24 | I always feel like Jean Dawson has the ideas to make a really great indie rap record, but just can never full realize that vision. ?Glimmer of God? is another really solid indie rap record that has some truly breathtaking tracks and some truly head-scratching tracks also. Like the synthpop banger of ?You?re Bleeding Everywhere? or the psychedelia ?Die For Me? featuring Lil Yachty. But then you get tracks like ?P4IN? and ?Murcielago? which are both so outside the range of a normal Jean Dawson that it sounds like he doesn?t know what he is suppose to do with these tracks.

3.0 good | BillClinton | October 18th 24 | A step back in terms of overall quality for Jean. While a bit incohesive overall, there's some good highlights here with Black Sugar, Houston, and P4IN. A bit of fun to be had. Just not enough to keep this from being his first release to miss the high mark he set with Bad Sports. Nevertheless, excited for what's next. Let this be a stepping stone.
