They either put out subpar post-punk revival or above average post-punk revival. This one, I think, falls into the latter. Everydaydreamer's got the best hook, you can hear Alex aging on Night or Day - and it sounds cool, Tell Me I Should Stay is very psychedelic (Beach-boys esque?) for the Ferds. I hear them embracing a little quirkiness here, and personally I think it helps rather than hinders.
