| 3.0 good | ajcollins15 | September 11th 24 | Marianas Trench continues to sound like a band trying to figure out their new sound. For the longstanding emo-pop and pop rock band, they really want to sound relevant again, in which there are some ideas on here that would lead you to believe it. ?Heaven? has some truly breathtaking ideas like the progressive ragger on the opening track, or the several synthpop tracks that allow the band to play with synthesizers. However this album truly doesn?t know what it wants to be. There is a great EP in here, but the band really needs to narrow down their sound. I can feel a want to be a post-emo act in some ways especially with the more progressive rock ideas, but I don?t think they know how to get there at this point in their careers.

| 2.0 poor | Caleb Robinson CONTRIBUTOR | September 6th 24 | Bold, big, and ambitious, but this feels so hollow. Granted it's my first time listening to
Marianas Trench, but this album feels far too bombastic for its own good.
