This is a very interesting album from Jonah, it has a lot of interesting elements with how simplistic it is. ?Jonah Yano & The Heavy Loop? is a RnB based jazz album that is very quiet and subtle. In many ways it reminds me of Puma Blue with its subtly. With that said this album doesn?t really resonate with me when I really sit down and listen to it. It?s definitely pleasant when it?s on, but I don?t remember much other than the weird 30 minute closer track.
