Certainly no masterpiece, it's still a great listen. It's a lot closer to 'Sky Blue' than something like 'Addicted!' but I still think it works. Even if some tracks like "Glacier" nearly ape melodies from the former. It's a good melody so I don't care but it's almost distractedly close.
"Ubelia" is another highlight, what is essentially the "Equinox" of this album. That being a heavy hitting emotional anvil of a track that combines the dread of time and existence with Dev's classic wall of sound and enteral melodic touches.
Rest is good too but those were particular standouts to me.

Dev has fun making another kinda goofy metal record that is maybe slightly better than Lightwork. Still a bit too safe, a bit too clean, but the songwriting's otherwise solid and Dev's vocals are always great.
