4.5 superb | Tundra | August 23rd 24 | Stand Atlantic has skillfully blended alternative rock with hyperpop in their album "WAS HERE." Each word and syllable delivered by vocalist Bonnie Fraser brings me immense joy. The band's use of autotune enhances the listening experience to a remarkable degree. While autotune can often be grating, I never find it bothersome in Stand Atlantic's music. Additionally, the album showcases a darker, more textured aspect that I greatly admire. This is yet another innovative, imaginative, and diverse offering from the Australian band. In my opinion, they consistently excel.

2.5 average | hangth3dj | September 12th 24 | Disappointed. Feels like they've leaned too far into their genre-mashing and forgot to include their base ingredient - pop punk. I liked their previous album and there's some decent bits on here, but the bad outweighed the good on the first listen. I will return to see if anything else sinks in, but for now...
