Mark Tremonti is one of those guys who simply can?t stop creating. Whatever is in him and cannot get it out with Alter Bridge, he does it with style in his own, eponymous band. The End Will Show Us How is his sixth studio album and is as implacably solid, as musically sound and lyrically meaningful as any of the previous ones. Like its predecessors, The End Will Show Us How is all about the typically emotive, sharp and unflashy trademark riffs that Mark specializes on. Each of the dozen tracks is based on a gigantic one with his noisy guitars supporting his soaring singing. The lyrical content while remains hopeful, has a darkness and a kind of grim-faced determination to get through challenging times. Admittedly, some of the songs here might have been considered too heavy for Alter Bridge, and a ton stormier than any Creed ones. However, with each new release, Tremonti seems more comfortable in his role fronting a band.
