The newest album from the longstanding indie rock and emo rock band from St. Louis shows that they are really not afraid to change up their sound nearly 10 years into their careers. The band?s self-titled release really sends a message that they want to experiment and try out new things and boy do they do that. The opening track alone with its blistering post-punk screams and ?Greyhound? with its 8 minute run time and half of it being a noise drone piece delivers that. The band took a lot of risks and although I don?t think it lands all the time it?s a really enticing and interesting listen from front to back.
